TBS Literary Society:

An intimate gathering of the TBS Literary Society met on Monday, November 13th both in person at TBS and on Zoom (for those who were not able to join us in person) to review the book, Count the Ways by Joy MaynardShirley was back in the helm as moderator (as I was out of town) and as always, we had a great time being together and discussing this book.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 18th when we will review The Violin Conspiracy, by Brendan Slocumb.  A mystery about a Black classical musician whose family heirloom violin is stolen on the eve of the most prestigious classical music competition in the world.  If possible, I recommend you obtain the audio version of the book; it contains wonderful musical sonatas at the beginning and end of each chapter!

We will gathering on Monday, January 8 to  hold our annual BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) Meeting in January (location to be decided) when we will select our book choices for the 2024 year. You will not want to miss this meeting.

If you are not a member of this group, you are missing out on the opportunity for thought-provoking discussions on books from a variety of genres; please feel free to join us and check us out!  For more information, please feel free to contact Adulted@seashul.org.
