Learning

We are a community of learners. We love to kibbitz about a passage from one of our Holy texts or dive deeply into an idea that our Rabbi or a fellow congregant has brought up. And, we can’t wait to meet new people and learn from them!

We are blessed to have a spiritual leader, Rabbi Gerald Fox, who is both learned and provides opportunities to learn in both formal and informal settings. Whether it is in a sermon or a Torah study or an education program, Rabbi Fox brings whatever subject he teaches about to light.

We have been blessed to have many congregants who have special skills in many areas and have shared their expertise with our congregation in special programs. Most notably, Steve Sarratore, who has offered educational programs on anti-semitism and false messiahs.

Finally, we have been blessed to host numerous scholars, artists, and educators for scholars weekends, generously underwritten by congregants.

We are sure that you will find something of interest among our many (and growing) offerings.
