Holidays

Jewish holidays can be either solemn or joyous experiences and often are both!

At Temple Beth Shalom, we enjoy celebrating the various holidays and festivals with each other, as well as supporting each other through the Jewish memorial days. Please join us in creating an air of joy or a depth of compassion as we observe the many special, appointed times in the Jewish calendar.

We hold services for Yizkor for all of the Pilgrimage (Major) holidays throughout the year and we love spending time together in our Sukkah or eating special foods during our Tu B’Shevat Seder and Shabbat dinner, among many other special holiday moments.

For more information on our holiday observances, please visit our new calendar (or visit our older calendar). You can also contact Rabbi Fox at rabbi@seashul.org to ask about holiday observances or our synagogue’s practices and customs.
