Learn About ACUA

The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) is an environmental leader in South Jersey.  As an agency tasked with managing Atlantic County’s waste, ACUA responsibly operates a landfill, recycling center, and vegetative composting operation at the Environmental Park in Egg Harbor Township. ACUA also treats millions of gallons of wastewater in Atlantic City each day, using electricity generated from the wind and the sun.
