The next Adult Torah Study Group to be be held on Tuesday, July 2nd at 7:00 p.m. will be led by congregant Dr. Harry Chaikin and Sister Celeste Mokrzycki.
The Temple Beth Shalom Adult Torah Study Group, will meet again on Tuesday, July 2nd at 7:00 p.m. on-line (via zoom). Dr. Chaikin and Sister Celeste will discuss Parashat Pinhas (num 25: 10-30:1), concentrating on the verses that deal with laws of inheritance and how certain daughters came to gain their father’s holdings. These verses will serve as an opening to discuss more egalitarian opportunities in our synagogues and churches. The discussion promises to be informative and relavant to issues faced today by our religious traditions.
