We welcome you with joy to our haimish shul by the sea!

Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) is a special place indeed — from its location to its people, from its religious offerings to its Rabbi — it is truly a special Jewish home.

With its start as a community center, TBS is a place where building relationships is a natural way of being. You are not forgotten at TBS from the first time you visit, which is part of what brings dozens of people back year after year when visiting Brigantine Island or the surrounding area and why local residents, from as close as across the street or as far away as across the county, keep coming back, as well.  Whether it is our Shabbat lunches or our meaningful religious services, our Summer Bazaar that is a famous Brigantine Island event, or our festive holiday celebrations, Temple Beth Shalom is a wonderful place to express your Jewish identity in a low-key and welcoming atmosphere.

Located on a quiet island just north of the bustling Casino and Boardwalk World that is Atlantic City, Brigantine’s Temple Beth Shalom is an endearing and dynamic congregation.  Our members and visitors are what make this congregation so special — their humor and their kindness offer all who enter our doors a welcoming hand and a smile.  After all, who wants to pray or to honor the truly important moments in life as a stranger?!  At Temple Beth Shalom, you will feel at home from your first visit.

We look forward to welcoming you at our regular services or at a special event.
