Temple Beth Shalom invites you to take part in a hands-on, collaborative Charrette Experience – an opportunity to learn about the design process of Charrette. You will be challenged to think, talk, imagine, and create together as we explore ideas with our sanctuary as a framework for learning.
The Experience includes:
- Working side-by-side with three local artists
- Small and large group conversations around meaning, symbolism, and intention of religious symbols on the TBS Ark
- Exploration of materials, forms and visual language.
- Live sketching and concept development during the session.
- An atmosphere that is collaborative, thoughtful, and inspiring
- Lunch
Who Should Participate?
All congregants interested in participating in the design process of Charrette using our sanctuary as the educational backdrop.
