Please join us as we explore the exciting city of Tel Aviv. How did this desolate sand dune turn into Start Up Nation, and what was just named the World’s Most Expensive City?! We will learn the fascinating history, meet the founding families, and find out what put this place on the map.
Our Tour Guide:
Mara Seidel Apelstein is originally from Wilmington, Delaware and a product of Adas Kodesch Shel Emeth Hebrew School and Gratz Hebrew High School. She made Aliyah to Israel in 2008, where she currently lives on Kibbutz Netzer Sereni. Mara has worked for many years in educational Israel programming, going on to become a licensed Israeli tour guide in 2015. For the past year she has been running a nonprofit called Biyat Brigade. This worthy organization provides affordable housing to IDF Lone Soldiers and new vets. A lone Soldier is a member of the IDF with no immediate family in Israel.
