Making Security a Daily Ritual

Roberta will review security issues which should be part of every organization’s discussion for creating, implementing, and evaluating their security policies and procedures. When done well, security protocols become part of an organization’s culture and increase the chances of mitigating worst case scenarios.

More About Robert S. Clark:

Roberta S. Clark is the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. Her responsibilities include working with Jewish Federation leadership and staff to support and engage members of the Jewish community as well as create meaningful bridges between the Jewish community and other communities – religious and other – throughout the region.

Prior to moving to New Jersey, Ms. Clark was the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City for five years; prior to that, she spent fourteen years working for the Anti-Defamation League. Deeply committed to ensuring the safety and security of the Jewish people, and protecting the rights of all Americans, Ms. Clark brings significant leadership and experience in programming, leadership development, Jewish education and fundraising to her position. In all the communities where she has worked, she has cultivated relationships with community leaders, educators, interfaith leaders, law enforcement professionals, political leaders and media representatives.

Throughout her career, she has developed and implemented interfaith security conferences; has trained thousands of law enforcement professionals on issues and incidents related to hate groups, extremism and terrorism; worked with dozens of educational institutions and school districts to successfully negotiate church/state issues and to provide trainings in the areas of bullying and cyber bullying; and provided guidance and assistance to community members who believe they have been the victims of discrimination and/or hate crimes.

Ms. Clark is a recipient of the 2013 FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award and the 2015 “Chai Award” from the URJ Greene Family Camp. She graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Political Science and holds dual M.A. degrees in Jewish Education and Jewish Studies from Gratz College in Melrose Park, PA.
